I am going to start with the CPU that I picked for my recent build which is the latest high-end CPU from Intel is the I7 8700k from there coffee lake generation which is most popular for people creating a rig for general to intense gaming running the latest games like PUBG and Fortnite with ease.
The I7 8700K is the first gaming processor in Intel’s I7 range to answer to AMD Ryzens increase core and thread size with a jump up to 6 cores and 12 threads from its predecessors previous 4 cores and 6 threads.
Without AMD upping their game in the last year, we wouldn’t be seeing such a shift from Intel so the competition is very much welcomed but it does beg the question what would have happened if they did this sooner! like 5-10 years ago!
